OUR MAIN MILESTONES
1956
Our history begins in 1956 in the municipality of Sogamoso, with the production of coal tar derivatives
1974
In 1974, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Colombian government awarded us the Bronze Medal in recognition of the work carried out in favor of the development of the country's exports.
1976
In 1976 we opened the industrial solvents plant, with a capacity of 2,500 tons.
1994
In 1994 we expanded through the merger of CarboQuímica with Polyquímicos, a Colombian company specialized in the manufacture of thermal stabilizers.
1996
We inaugurated unit #4, the largest in South America with a capacity of 20,000 tons/year
2000
In 2000, the CarboQuímica and Polyquimicos plants were consolidated into a single production unit, achieving significant optimization of resources.
2007
In 2007 we created the Chemical Products Distributor as a business unit
2012
2012, we decided that the main plant should be located in a strategic location that would allow national and international attention. For this reason, we moved the plant from Bogotá to Cartagena.
2017
In 2017, the AF plant was moved to the city of Cartagena, unifying its production and ensuring its operational efficiency.
2020
2020 is a year of changes and a global pandemic that invites us, once again, to evolve and take measures to expand the business.
2021
We celebrate 65 years of experience at a national level, achieving excellent results.
2024
We continue to establish ourselves as one of the leading companies in the sector, achieving excellent results.
